Shaped by some of Australia’s Most Experienced Photography Specialists

Early Learning Photography Australia has been shaped by experienced professionals from across Australia. These contributors bring decades of industry knowledge, hands-on experience in early-learning photography, and deep expertise in safety, data security, and best-practice standards. Their collective insights ensure this Framework is practical, robust, and reflective of real-world needs in ECEC environments.

Our Story

Our story began with a simple belief: children deserve to be photographed safely, and families deserve confidence in the people behind the camera. With no consistent industry standards to ensure that, we came together to change it.

Childcare photographers have long worked without unified guidelines, despite operating in sensitive environments.
We saw the risks and the need for accountability — so we stepped up.

This Framework is our commitment to a safer, more transparent, and more trusted future for early learning photography in Australia.
